The transmission gears are sealed between bore frame and two cases. The main chest splint and cover are made from tough cast iron and steel plate and coated with baking varnish. The pinion and shaft are made from carbon steel. The gearwheel is made from cast iron through milling. Automatic three chuck claws. Hard wood handle coated with varnish.
